As the lead Production Manager at Breakthrough Productions, I have overseen the install and execution of projects big and small, including pop-up stores, trade show booths, experiential events, and custom pieces for brands. My responsibilities in this capacity include coordinating shop builds, load-ins and strikes, conducting site surveys, and creating build and engineering drawings.
I have excellent proficiency in CAD (Vectorworks) and Sketchup, and I pride myself on the quickness and accuracy of my renderings.
I love designing and creating small scale props, displays, and photo backgrounds. These projects allow me to get creative with material choices and construction methodologies to realize detailed one-off pieces.

For several years I supported the rendering, drafting, and builds for various global fashion shows. These are some of my favorites.
The large-scale, evocative environments that serve opera productions have made these design projects some of my favorites over the years. The music is critical for establishing the mood for the visual language of the production and informs many of the choices I make during the design process.
I have developed the aesthetic vision for renowned theater productions across the globe, collaborating closely with award-winning directors and design teams. My projects in this area have been unique and disparate in scope, giving me a strong background not only in design, but in communication, construction methodology, and production management.
Before I learned to create digital 3D renderings, I built models the old fashioned way: with paper, paint, and glue. With 3D printing and inexpensive drafting software now so widely accessible, model building is a dying art. However, I still occasionally relish taking out my Exacto blades and building with cardboard, soldered brass, and basswood.
